Universe may have existed forever


A new quantum equation suggests that the universe may have existed forever, without a beginning. The traditional Big Bang theory posits that the universe started from a single point and has been expanding ever since. However, this new theory, developed by Ahmed Farag Ali and Saurya Das, uses quantum mechanics to propose that the universe has no beginning and no end, challenging the conventional Big Bang model.

The researchers incorporated quantum corrections into Einstein's theory of general relativity. Instead, the universe undergoes a perpetual cycle of expansion and contraction, providing a new perspective on cosmology. This approach aligns with some previous theories that attempt to reconcile quantum mechanics with general relativity.

This new model has significant implications for our understanding of the universe's origin and its ultimate fate. It suggests that the universe has always existed in some form, which could explain why it appears so uniform and isotropic today.
