Led by editor Walter "Robby" Robinson (Michael Keaton), reporters Michael Rezendes (Mark Ruffalo), Sacha Pfeiffer (Rachel McAdams), and Matt Carroll (Brian d'Arcy James) painstakingly piece together evidence, facing resistance from powerful institutions and individuals. Their relentless pursuit of the truth ultimately exposes systemic corruption within the Church. Spotlight won the Academy Award for Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay.
