This new standard allows viewers to watch shows in 4K resolution, making colors more vibrant and enhancing the viewing experience. Additionally, it allows for better sound quality, including immersive audio that improves how viewers experience their favorite programs. The technology also supports internet-based services, which could mean interactive ads or local news broadcasts tailored to specific neighborhoods.
