Midnight Run (1988) In this action-comedy classic, Robert De Niro stars as Jack Walsh, a police officer turned bounty hunter. Walsh is tasked with bringing bail-jumper and former mob accountant Jonathan "The Duke" Mardukas (Charles Grodin) from New York to L.A. The Duke, who embezzled $15M from mob boss Jimmy Serrano (Dennis Farina), is wanted by the FBI to testify and by the mob to be silenced. The cynical Jack and the neurotic Duke form an unlikely friendship along the way. Midnight Run is rated R for language and violence.
